Guadalupe River Flood May 30th, 2015 on Vine Street – Victoria TX

We relive the past, this town was flooded in 1998, residents relive the memories.

With heavy rains and flash floods on northern cities from Victoria, TX – much of that rain flows through the Guadalupe River and makes the water rise dramatically to a level that eventually reaches city roads, golf course, zoo and other civic areas. Alligators that live in smaller local water tanks, dams etc eventually have to go with the current and find new areas. Many animals are forced to roam into the city streets, snakes, raccoons, dogs, deer and even cats are affected and gather around.
